Type M / MN
|
|
|||||
|
The
Montz-Pak
Type M and Type MN are further developments of the tried and trusted
structured
packing
Montz-Pak Type B1, A3 and BSH with its own patent coverage. The Type
M series allows throughput increases of 30% compared to columns
equipped with standard packing types due to reduced pressure drop. This
packing offers the same efficiency as standard packing types. The field
of applications comprises new columns as well as tower revamps. Revamps
from standard packed columns to the new high performance packing types
consistently deliver outstanding performances. Available packing types B1-250M
250 m²/m³

Type A3 in particular fulfils the special requirements in connection
with
the fractionation of thermally instable substances under vacuum. This
is
achieved above all by a special wire mesh with capillary effect which
in
form of corrugated lamellae builds up the packing layers. With its low
pressure
drop and its high separation efficiency this type of packing is also
very
suitable for very low liquid loads. Click here for more information Diagrams |

Type B1 is the result of many years of experience and development in
the
field of thermal fractionating technology with structured packings.
Montz-Pak
Type B1 has proven its reliability in many technical applications. The
excellent
characteristics are ensured by the regular arrangement and the special
Montz
surface structure. Click here for more information Diagrams |

Montz-Pak Type BSH
|
|
|||||
|
The
BSH-packing in one type of packing which combines the essential
features
and characteristics of metal sheet and wire mesh packing. A remarkable
characteristic
of the BSH-packing is the special surface structure. It consists of
rhombic
perforation with alternating burred-up borders. This structure ensures
an
excellent and uniform wetting under lowest and high liquid loads.
Turbulences
caused by the burred-up rims of the orifice ensure a permanent mixing
of
the liquid film on the packing surface. |

Type C1
|
|
|||||
|
Montz-Pak
Type C1 made of pure PTFE, represents a regular mass transfer packing
featuring
a specific surface of 300 m2/m3. The C1-packing is produced in form of
cylindrical
packing elements for small diameters, and in segments for larger
diameters.
The individual packing layers are stiffened with a metallic basket. |
