MONTZ Falling Film Evaporators

MONTZ offers all components for falling film evaporators such as effective liquid distribution systems, inlet spouts for a uniform film formation on the inner pipe wall, design know-how and a rich experience in application and usage of falling film evaporators. Apart from new devices, MONTZ also equips existing falling film evaporators with new liquid distribution systems and inlet spouts to achieve a clearly improved product quality. MONTZ falling film evaporators are primarily used in situations, where product-protecting and economically feasible operation are required.

Properties:
- Low liquid loads
- Low retention times
- Minimum thermal loading of product
- Use of waste heat if very low average temperature differences are sufficient
- Heating with water vapor, product vapors, heat transfer fluids, etc.
Applications:
- Heating of vacuum separation columns
- Concentrating of solutions
- Concentrating of fatty alcohols
- Heat recuperation etc.
