MONTZ SUPPORT SYSTEMS

Support systems serve as holding grids for structured packings.

The carrying system Type K for columns with a diameter < 2,000 mm is built as a single piece and mounted through shell flange connections of the column.

For diameters up to ca. 2,500 mm, the carrying system is built from several segments and mounted through manholes. Fastenings welded to column wall are installed to support the carrying systems.

The carrying system Type G is suitable for columns with a diameter > 2,000 mm.
Two or more carriers bridge the column cross-section. The packing bedlies on grid bars, which in turn are supported by the fastenings welded to the column wall. The carrying system is designed in such a way that all parts can be installed through manholes.
