Combination Distributor Type KN / KR / KFR / KS / KFS

Combination distributorsserve as liquid catchers and liquid distributors. Covered risers enable the penetration of rising gas and the catching of the liquid. The liquid is fed to the packing bed through bore holes or drain pipes.

Type KN:

  • Bore holes in the tray next to and between risers distribute the liquid evenly on the underneath packing.
  • Can be mounted through manholes
Operating range:
  • app. 1:2.5
Number of drip locations:
  • app. 60 to 100 pro m²
Throughput quantities:
  • app. 1 up to more than 250 m³/(m² h)
Relatively insensitive to contaminants
It looks like a piece of metal with a lot of holes in it.

Type KR:

  • Drain pipes are placed at bore hole positions
Operating range:
  • Single-stage app. 1:2.5
  • Double-stage app. 1:10
Insensitive to sedimenting contaminants
